For Business

Georgian bay leaf for professional buyers

Valéor works with wholesalers, HoReCa suppliers, spice brands and food manufacturers across Europe. We help buyers match the appropriate product grade to its intended application, then confirm batch information, documentation, packaging, samples and delivery terms for the specific enquiry.

Professional Buyers

For different food business applications

The Product page explains the distinctions between Grades A, B and C. Here, the focus is on the practical steps needed to evaluate a product grade and discuss a potential supply.

Wholesale trade

For importers, distributors and wholesale businesses that require a clear grading structure, batch-specific information and individually confirmed commercial terms.

HoReCa supply

For suppliers to professional kitchens and food-service operators seeking an appropriate leaf grade and packaging format.

Spice brands

For retail or professional packing where leaf appearance, calibration and consistency with the selected grade are commercially relevant.

Food manufacturing

For spice blends, sauces, sausage products, extracts, grinding and other processes where bay leaf is used as a food ingredient.

Product Grades

Three grades for different applications

Grade A
Large hand-selected whole dried bay leaves for premium retail packing, HoReCa and spice brands.
Grade B
Machine-sorted commercial bay leaves for bulk packing, HoReCa, spice blends and general food production.
Grade C
Small-leaf food-grade fraction for grinding, blends, sauces, sausage products, extracts and further processing.

Batch and Documentation

Information confirmed for the relevant lot

Each commercial batch undergoes batch-specific testing by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing laboratory. The applicable scope of testing and supporting documentation are confirmed for the relevant lot.

Depending on the lot and transaction, the documentation package may include a product specification, batch laboratory test report, commercial invoice, packing list or delivery note, country-of-origin information and packaging details.

  • Product specification
  • Lot identification
  • Batch laboratory test report
  • Applicable delivery documentation

Document availability and composition are confirmed for the relevant lot and transaction.

Packaging and Delivery

Terms confirmed for each order

Packaging

Packaging is confirmed per order. Typical configurations may include food-contact inner film within cartons or polypropylene bulk bags, commonly in 20–25 kg or 50 kg units. Other weights and packaging configurations may be discussed individually.

Delivery area

Valéor arranges deliveries of products and approved samples across the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Transport timing, costs and destination-specific formalities are confirmed individually. Where agreed, delivery costs are included in the final quotation.
